The Locate pane is displayed when you activate the Locate tool from the ArcGIS ribbon. By entering a line of search text and selecting one of the search results, you can zoom in the current drawing to locations returned as results of the location search.

When more than one locator is present within the drawing, you can remove locators by clicking the Remove button next to the locator name in the drop-down list.
