Connect to a custom locator service

ArcGIS for AutoCAD, by default, uses the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service to perform location searches. You can, however, add a custom locator service.

1. On the ribbon, in the Navigate section, click the Locate button
2. Click the add button at the upper right of the Locate pane.
3. In the text box, provide a locator URL from an ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Enterprise portal.
4. Click the add button again.

Note:

Near the top of the Locate pane, you can switch between locator services. Location searches are performed in the coordinate system of your current drawing.
