Relates multiple text entities together. Modifications to one text entity will be reflected in each related text entity. When relating text values together using this tool, the text value of the first selected text entity will replace the text of the following entities. Afterward, changes made to any of the related text entities will be reflected in all of the related text entities. You can relate text entities that are also linked to a field value of a feature to create labeling scenarios, such as multiple text labels on a long feature or text duplicated in a table within the drawing.
- At the command line, type Esri_RelateText
- Select two or more text entities (MTEXT OR TEXT).
The text values of the related text entities are updated when any of them are modified.
