Adding a layer to your favorites identifies it as a favorite item in your portal. These favorite items appear in your favorites collection when you're signed in. Adding layers to your favorites collection is a convenient way to quickly identify your commonly used layers for quick access.
Add a layer to your portal favorites
Complete the following steps to add a layer to your portal favorites:
- From the ArcGIS ribbon, select the Add Data button
.The Add Data user interface is displayed including a gallery of portal items to which you have access.
- Sign in to a portal by selecting the Sign In button on the main banner and entering your credentials.
Some portal authentication models automatically sign you in to your portal based on your system login credentials.
- Click the Add to favorites button on the layer item tile you want to add to your favorites.
