What's new in April 2022 release

New solutions

Broadband Outreach

Broadband Outreach can be used to understand broadband coverage and promote actions being taken to address the digital divide.

Civil Support

Civil Support can be used to manage events, missions, personnel, and resources during a military response in support of civilian authorities.

Electric Overhead Inspections

Electric Overhead Inspections can be used to conduct inspection campaigns and monitor the condition of electric overhead assets.

Pipeline Referencing Foundation

Pipeline Referencing Foundation can be used to accelerate an ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing implementation for gas and hazardous liquid pipelines.

Sewer Manhole Inspections

Sewer Manhole Inspections can be used to streamline the inspection of sewer manholes.

Enhanced solutions

Adopt-A-Catch Basin
  • A new Adopt-A-Catch Basin site designed to help volunteers create community identities, apply to the program, and once approved provides access to additional information products.
  • A new Adopt-A-Catch Basin app used by approved volunteers to adopt catch basins and report that they are clear of debris.
  • A new Adopt-A-Catch Basin Manager app used by volunteer coordinators to review volunteer applications, update catch basin adoption details, and triage requests from the public.
  • A new Adopt-A-Catch Basin Dashboard app used by volunteer coordinators to track effectiveness of the program and response to service requests.
  • The solution shares the same StormwaterSystem feature layer deployed with the Stormwater Data Management solution.
Citizen Problem Reporter
  • A new Citizen Problem Reporter app with a simplified process for modifying and adding request categories and types.
  • A new Citizen Problem Manager app with the ability to add public comments that display in the Citizen Problem Reporter app.
  • A new Citizen Request Center site promoting the use of community identities to submit and track the status of submitted requests.
  • A new Citizen Problem Dashboard with additional filtering capabilities and an average resolution time indicator.
Election Management
  • Updated the Election Assistant app to include voting location search functionality.
  • A new collection of apps to conduct and monitor ballot drop box chain of custody activities.
  • A new collection of focused ArcGIS Dashboards to monitor election performance.
  • A new collection of apps to solicit and manage election workers and provide information to potential and current workers.
Election Outreach
  • Updated Promoting Transparent Elections to embed the My Elected Representative app.
  • Updated My Elected Representative, Election Polling Places and Voting Centers to use ArcGIS Instant Apps.
  • Updated Voting Centers and Election Data Management to include ballot drop boxes.
  • Updated ElectionGeography schema to support additional early voting patterns.
Election Results
  • A new ArcGIS Dashboards app optimized for display on mobile devices.
  • A new ArcGIS Experience Builder app that displays the correct dashboard, desktop or mobile, depending on the device.
  • Party domain now includes 10 nonpartisan categories to support nonpartisan and primary contests.
  • Results for all candidates are displayed in the map pop-up to better support multiple-winner contests.
  • Mail-in, early, and election day voting method metrics are now included.
Homelessness Outreach
  • Name changed from Homeless Outreach to Homelessness Outreach.
  • All layers, map, apps, and projects updated to use the term homelessness instead of homeless.
Homelessness Point-in-Time Counts
  • Name changed from Homeless Point-in-Time Counts to Homelessness Point-in-Time Counts.
  • All layers, map, apps, and projects have been updated to use the term homelessness instead of homeless.
  • A new Homelessness Count Dashboard.
  • An update to the Homelessness Counts form and supporting layers to permit changes to the form.
Homelessness Risk Reduction
  • Name changed from Homeless Risk Reduction to Homelessness Risk Reduction.
  • All layers, map, apps, and projects have been updated to use the term homelessness instead of homeless.
  • A new version of the Homelessness Risk Reduction ArcGIS Pro project that leverages an updated Create Risk Surface tool.
Lead Service Line Inventory
  • An update to the Lead-Safe Community site to include a link to the Water Service Line Material Survey.
  • Added a Service Line Self-Assessment Manager app, Service Line Self-Assessment Dashboard app, and Water Service Line Material Survey.
My Trash Services
  • A new ArcGIS Hub site used by the general public to learn about and request trash services.
  • A new Zone Lookup app used by the general public to learn what curbside services are available.
  • A new Nearby app used by the general public to find self service facilities.
  • A new ArcGIS Pro project used by mapping technicians to maintain curbside services areas and trash service information.
  • A new ArcGIS Survey123 form used by the general public to request trash services.
  • A new Crowdsource Manager app used by operations managers to manage trash service requests.
Operations Management
  • A new Operations Dashboard that allows operations staff to manage the life cycle of an event and associated missions.
  • A new Operations Management Dashboard that allows operations staff to view status reports and field reports.
  • Multiple layers are shared with the Civil Support solution and can be utilized for tasking workflows during mission coordination.
Readiness Management
  • A new Readiness Dashboard that allows administrative staff to filter between individual and batch reports.
  • Multiple layers are shared with the Civil Support solution and can be utilized for tasking workflows during mission coordination.
Resource Management
  • A new Resource Management Dashboard that allows logistics staff to monitor individual assets.
  • Multiple layers are shared with the Civil Support solution and can be utilized for tasking workflows during mission coordination.
Winter Weather Operations
  • An update to the Status Reporter QuickCapture Project to leverage new location tracking capabilities in the ArcGIS QuickCapture mobile app.
  • Removed optional requirement for use of the ArcGIS Tracker mobile app.
  • Recent enhancements to ArcGIS Velocity streamlined workflows and reduced the number of analytics and feeds shipped with the solution.
Winter Weather Outreach
  • An update to symbol styles in the Snow Routes and Parking Restrictions web map.
