Update a site's default URL

YYou can update a site's URL by modifying the Site URL text or by changing the subdomain of your site.

1. Open a site in edit mode.
2. In Settings on the side panel, select Domain settings then select Modify domain settings.
   • Use the Subdomain dropdown menu to change hub.arcgis.com (default) to opendata.arcgis.com.

     Note:

     Some organizations prefer to use the opendata.arcgis.com subdomain if they already have open data sites using that subdomain.

   • Update the site's URL by modifying the text in the Site URL field.
3. Select Save.

   You will be redirected to your new site.
