Set map controls
You can specify which tools are available to others when the page is in run mode. In the Map Controls section of the ArcGIS pane, turn the toggle buttons on or off for the following tools:
- Show Table of Contents
- Show Basemap Gallery
- Show Find Address
- Show Analysis
- Show Share
Note:
This button is turned on by default, making the Share button available in the map tools. The Share pane includes two user interface items: Share map and Print map. Viewers cannot share a map to ArcGIS, so Share map is unavailable for Viewers. Viewers can, however, print a map. Turning the toggle button off removes the Share button from the map tools, so Viewers cannot access Print map.
- Show Settings
Note:
Turning off the Show Settings toggle button makes the map available for Standard users only. Users cannot sign in to an ArcGIS account when Show Settings is turned off.
- Show Geotagging
- Show Geosearching
- Synchronize map view
Note:
This button is turned off by default. See Link multiple map views to learn how to view spatial content side by side.
- Show map navigation controls
Note:
This button is turned off by default. Turning the toggle button on shows the zoom in and zoom out buttons on the map frame.
- Show full screen control
Note:
This button is turned off by default. Turning the toggle button on shows the full screen button on the map frame.
Connect web parts
You can establish connections between SharePoint web parts and ArcGIS for SharePoint in the Connect web parts section.
