Map services contain metadata that contains information about the service. Metadata is information that describes content, quality, condition, origin, or any other characteristics of the data. Esri Redistricting allows you to view the metadata for map services in your current session.
- Enable the Search panel by clicking the right arrow next to the scale bar to expand the side panel.
- Click Map Contents .
- Click to highlight a map service you added to the map.
The Tools ribbon expands to display additional tools.
- On the Tools ribbon, click Service Details.
A new browser window appears and displays metadata for the selected service.
