Esri_Locate actives the Locate user interface as a tab on the Esri Contents pane. You can enter addresses or place names to get a list of location results. You can then navigate your drawing by zooming to a result candidate by selecting it.
The default locator is the ArcGIS World Geolocate Service, but additional location services can be added. A transient marker is placed on the selected location, and that marker can be cleared using the AutoCAD REGEN command.

Prompts for a search string and then provides a list of candidates retuned from the location service, which you can choose to zoom to, solely from the command line.
