Esri_MapLayer provides options to manage the map or imagery layers in the current drawing. After selecting a specific (or all) layers, the options available depend on the capabilities of the selection.
Enter the capitalized letters from the option list below to select the following options:
- Dynamic—Press D to control whether the map or imagery layer is redrawn to fit the current map display when a significant change is made to the AutoCAD view, or whether the map or imagery layer is only drawn to fit the screen when requested. Setting the dynamic parameter to false allows you to pan and zoom without the map or imagery layer redrawing. This option has the following suboptions:
True | Press T to select true, and the selected map will be refreshed from the server whenever the current view extent changes to optimize the display.
False | Press F to select false, and the map will not dynamically update, but can be redrawn on demand with the Redraw option.
- eXtract | Press X to extract the portion of the selected map or imagery layer currently displayed to a local AutoCAD raster image entity saved in the drawing. The selected map or imagery layer is not removed. You will be prompted with a file dialog box to save a copy of the image to a file folder.
- ProcessingTemplate | Press P to see a list of available processing template display options for imagery layers. You can then enter the numbered option from the list to apply the corresponding processing template. You will need to be connected to the server to see and apply the processing template options.
- Redraw | Press R to force a refresh of the maps from the server based on the current view extent.
- reMove | Press M to remove the selected map or imagery layer from the drawing. You will be prompted to enter the index number of the map or imagery layer you want to remove.
- Sublayer-visibility | Press S to turn on or off the visibility of sublayers of the selected map. You will be prompted for the index number of the map sublayer to turn that layer's visibility on or off.
- Transparency | Press T to set the percentage of transparency of the selected map [0 = opaque; 100 = transparent].
- Visible | Press V to turn on or off the visibility of the map.
- Zoom | Press Z to zoom to the geographic extent of the map.
