Available with Workflow Manager license.
The October 2025 update of ArcGIS Workflow Manager includes the following new features and enhanced functionality:
- Authorize Workflow Manager to automatically resume jobs on behalf of another user when a dependency is released.
License:
This functionality requires a license for the ArcGIS Workflow Manager Advanced organization extension.
 - All workflow item feature services must be shared to enable access to workflow items with an item version of 25.2.0.0 or later.
 - Export a mapping file with your workflow item configuration to associate portal items that are used by Workflow Manager before importing the workflow item configuration.
 - Steps, paths, and labels configured in one diagram can be copied to another diagram on the same tab, across different tabs, or in different windows of the same browser.
 - $workflowItem is a new ArcGIS Arcade variable that allows you to retrieve the item ID of the current workflow item.
 - Partnered organizations are no longer required to have a Workflow Manager organizational extension for members to access shared workflow items.
 - Organization members must have the Create workflow item privilege to create workflow items.
Note:
This privilege is assigned to the Administrator and Publisher roles by default. If you use custom roles in your organization, they are not assigned the Create workflow item privilege by default.
 - Group thumbnails appear on job tiles.
 - Thumbnails for workflow items appear on the My Workflow Items page.
