Project members

Project membership in Site Scan determines the data that users have access to. Project membership is also defined by project permissions. Each project has a list of project members and their project permission level, which is configurable through the Members menu of the project.

The following are the three project permission level options:

  • Read–Only—The user can view project data and make local measurements but cannot modify, contribute to, or share project data.
  • Full–Access—The user can view, modify, contribute to, and share project data. For example, they can process missions and save project measurements.
  • Administrator—The user can do everything a Full–Access project member can with the additional ability to modify project output settings and manage project membership.

Note:

Project permission level is separate from organization permission level, but the two are related. For example, a Read–Only organization member cannot exceed a Read–Only project permission level. However, a Full–Access organization member can be a project Administrator.

Note:

Organization Administrators can automatically access all projects from the All Projects list and therefore do not need to be individually added to projects to access project data and perform administrative functions. However, any project that an organization Administrator is a member of will appear on the initial view upon signing in to Site Scan Manager for quick access.
