Listed below are error messages you may encounter when working with ArcGIS Business Analyst Mobile App and some recommended solutions. If you are unable to troubleshoot the error, and you are a member of an organization, send your issue to your administrator and request that they contact Esri Support.

I received the An incorrect server address was entered error message. What should I do?

Verify that your server address is entered correctly.

Verify that your server address has a secure protocol (https).

I received the There is no network or VPN connection error message. What should I do?

Verify that you have proper network coverage. If you are using a wireless connection, ensure that it is turned on and the connection is properly established.

Some portals are behind a firewall and cannot be accessed from external networks. For secure networks, make sure you are connected to a VPN.

I received the Unable to Connect error message when attempting to sign in using my ArcGIS Enterprise portal. What should I do?

Verify that the portal you are trying to connect to is turned on and is available to access. Contact your portal administrator if your portal is not available.

I received the The network is too slow to connect error message. What should I do?

If you are connected to a cellular network, verify that the network is not experiencing an outage and that you are in an area with cellular coverage.

If you are using a wireless internet connection, ensure that the strength of the connection is strong.

I received the You are connecting to a secure server but do not have the associated certificates installed locally error message. What should I do?

Verify that you have downloaded, installed, and trusted all the certificates for the secured server to which you are trying to connect. For more information about downloading certificates, see the following articles:

I received the Connection timed out error message. What should I do?

Verify that the portal you are trying to connect to is turned on and available to access. Contact the portal administrator if it is not available.

I received the Poor network connection error message. What should I do?

Verify your internet connection. If you are using a wireless connection, ensure that you have adequate network coverage and the connection is properly established.

I received an Invalid portal URL error message. What should I do?

First, verify that you have entered a valid portal URL. Next, verify that the portal you are trying to connect to is turned on and is available to access. Contact your portal administrator if it is not available.
