Use facts

The Facts screen provides information about your current site. There are two facts lists provided, Standard Facts and My Facts. The Standard Facts list includes key demographic facts, including the Dominant Tapestry Segment. The variables included on this tab cannot be modified. The My Facts list includes a second list of variables that can be modified.

View facts

You can view facts for a site in the mobile app. To view facts, do the following:

  1. Open a site.
  2. Tap Facts. Alternatively, you can tap Details and tap Facts from the Location Details screen.
  3. On the Standard Facts tab, view the default facts for your site.
  4. Tap the My Facts tab to view the list of facts that you have specified.
  5. Optionally, tap the Options button Options and do any of the following:
    • Tap Edit My Facts to modify the list of variables on the My Facts tab.
    • Tap Share to share site facts.
    • Tap Show Data Sources to view the data sources of the variables shown on the Facts screen.

Modify facts

You can customize the list of variables shown on the My Facts tab. To modify the facts list, do the following:

  1. On the Facts screen, tap the Options button Options and choose Edit My Facts.
  2. To add variables to the list, do the following:
    1. Tap Add Variables.
    2. Use the data browser to find variables.

      The data browser includes the following sections:

      • Standard data—Data provided by Esri.
      • My Data—Custom data that you previously added using Business Analyst Web App.
      • Data shared with me—Data shared with you by other users in your organization.

      Tap to expand any section or category to view the available variables. You can also enter keywords in the search field to find variables.

    3. Select up to 20 variables.

      The default for most variables is its number value, but many variables also have one or more other options: Percent, Index, and Average. To view available options, tap View options View options to the right of the variable and tap the desired option to select. Tap Back to return to the list of variables.

    4. Tap Add to my facts when you have selected your variables.
  3. To remove a variable, select one or more variables from the list and tap Remove Selected.
  4. To edit the display name of a variable, tap the variable name in the list and enter a new name.
  5. To reorder the variable list, tap and hold the Reorder button Reorder next to the variable and drag it to a new position.
  6. Tap Save to save your changes.

You can also swipe left on any variable on the My Facts tab for options to remove it from the list or replace it with another variable.
