Starting with North America 2024 Release 4 and 2025 releases, the following table describes the general supported workflows for ArcGIS StreetMap Premium in ArcGIS software versions. In general, testing is expanded further back to versions 3.1.x and 11.1.

ArcGIS StreetMap Premium is supported and tested with the current release and the two versions prior of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise (odd-numbered or long-term support releases). Even-numbered or short-term releases that are not shown (for example, 3.2 and 11.2) are generally supported, as testing occurred when the release was the current release.
Mobile map packages in Geographic Coordinate System (GCS) uncompressed format
ArcGIS StreetMap Premium mobile map packages (.mmpk) in Geographic Coordinate System (GCS) uncompressed format are available for download and use in ArcGIS Pro with a StreetMap Premium extension and in ArcGIS Enterprise.

Locators
ArcGIS StreetMap Premium Locators are available for download and use in ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Enterprise with a StreetMap Premium extension.
Creating geocoding services in ArcGIS Server with some of the larger StreetMap Premium locators can consume a significant amount of RAM on the ArcGIS Server machine, so on top of the RAM required to run ArcGIS Server (approximately 2 GB), you will need additional RAM to publish a geocoding service using one of the StreetMap Premium locators. In addition, with all other things being equal, the use of a solid-state drive (SSD) instead of a hard disk drive (HDD) will improve batch geocoding performance. The StreetMap Premium Custom Roads network dataset is available for download and use in ArcGIS Pro with a StreetMap Premium extension.
Use of StreetMap Premium Custom Roads network dataset in a routing service requires ArcGIS Enterprise. In addition, it is necessary to have both an ArcGIS Pro and an ArcGIS Enterprise StreetMap Premium extension.
