Esri provides a Consumer Spending advanced demographics dataset for the United States sourced from data supplied by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Expenditure Surveys. Visit Where to find Esri Location Data to learn more about using advanced demographics.
Esri Consumer Spending data is based on the latest Consumer Expenditure Surveys (CEX) from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Data is reported by product or service and includes total regional spending, average spending per regional household, and a regional Spending Potential Index (SPI). Current-year and five-year consumer spending forecast data is also provided.
Tip:
The Consumer Spending dataset uses Census 2020 geography.

The Consumer Spending dataset was updated in June 2024; the vintage is 2024/2029.
