The 2024.1 release of ArcGIS Monitor includes the following new features, enhancements, and improvements:
- Monitor can be configured with ArcGIS Web Adaptor to provide a connection between your enterprise web server and Monitor.
- ArcGIS Data Store is a new component that allows you to monitor Data Store.
- The ArcGIS Server component includes the following enhancements:
- Metrics were added for Request Wait Time Average, Request Wait Time Min, and Request Wait Time Max.
- Check - Service is an optional, user-configured observer that sends a request to an ArcGIS Server service and uses a regular expression pattern to validate its JSON response.
- The ArcGIS GeoEvent Server component includes metrics for Services and Connectors.
- Error messages for incorrect credentials or credential that do not have appropriate permissions for monitoring have been improved for ArcGIS component types.
- The component Overview page shows certificate and software license dates for applicable component types.
- The Operating System attribute for host components has been renamed Version on the components' Overview pages.
- A Metrics tab has been added to the agent Overview page that allows you to view all metrics associated with an ArcGIS Monitor Agent machine.
- You can compare metric data for up to 10 metrics that share the same unit of measure.
- The permission for the compare metric data feature has been updated to allow users with a Viewer role to compare metric data.
- Analysis views include performance improvements and the following enhancements:
- Analysis views can be exported and shared with other Monitor deployments.
- Analysis views can be copied to an existing analysis view to combine them into a single view.
- The Duplicate analysis option has been renamed Copy analysis.
- Rich text is a new element that allows you to add static text, links, and images to analysis views.
- Table is a new element that allows you to add columns and rows of attribute data to analysis views.
- Pie charts allow you to show values in labels, sort the category field, and specify a category limit.
- Observers include the following enhancements:
- An Observers tab has been added to the Monitoring page that allows you to view observers for all registered components from the Monitoring page.
- Observers have been renamed to indicate the component type to which they belong.
- Default observer settings can be configured and applied when components are registered.
- Default observer settings can be applied to observers across all components.
- Observer settings can be reset to their default values.
- Observers for a component were moved from the component's Settings page to the Observers tab on the component's Overview page.
- An Observers tab has been added to the Monitoring page that allows you to view observers for all registered components.
- An Observers tab has been added to the agent overview page that allows you to view all observers associated with an ArcGIS Monitor Agent machine.
- Notifications include the following enhancements:
- Email notifications include more specific information about the resource or event that caused the notification to be sent.
- Email notifications can be configured with a custom subject line.
- Log entries have been enhanced to include seconds and milliseconds in the timestamp.
