The following enhancements were made to Workspace Reservation with Microsoft 365:

  • You can add a description when making meeting room bookings.
  • You can review all your meeting room bookings on the new Booked tab and reschedule or cancel them.
  • You can review all your office hotel bookings on the new Booked tab and reschedule or cancel them.

The following enhancements were made to Workspace Reservation with Indoors Reservation Layer:

  • You can add a description when making meeting room bookings.
  • You can reschedule your meeting room and office hotel bookings.
  • You can reschedule office hotel bookings made for someone else if you are a reservation manager.

Deprecated

Indoor positioning configured using Indoo.rs is now deprecated. Configure indoor positioning using ArcGIS IPS.

  • You can expand the booking notification and check in and check out directly without opening the app.
  • Hotel scheduling limits are honored when booking an office hotel.

  • You can book office hotels and meeting rooms using the Reservations layer in an indoor map. This removes dependencies on external systems and allows you to analyze reservation data to make informed space management decisions.
  • You can review your bookings and manage them from a tab in the Hotel and Meeting panels.
  • You can check in to and out of booked hotels.

Deprecated

App launch action configuration specified using the APP_LAUNCH_ACTIONS config key in the Indoors Configuration table is supported at this release but will be deprecated at the 1.8 release. Configure app launch actions using the Configure Indoors Launch Actions pane in ArcGIS Pro.

  • You can review a list of nearby available rooms by clicking the Meeting button on the quick access bar for maps that have email addresses configured. You can filter available meeting rooms based on meeting duration, location, building, floor, or capacity, as well as schedule a new meeting.
  • Points of interest layers can be sourced from a feature service to instantly reflect changes made to the map data without publishing an update to the mobile map package.

  • QR codes—You can scan a QR code as an alternative to typing the URL when signing in.
  • Booking office hotels—You can book a workspace for temporary use when visiting an office.

Deprecated

Configuring categories in the Categories table and including it in the mobile map package has been deprecated. You can configure categories and category groups in the Categories view and the Explore view in ArcGIS Pro.

  • A fix was made to display results within each category when there is no network data.

  • Language supportArcGIS Indoors honors the language settings of the device if it is set to any of the languages supported by ArcGIS Enterprise.

  • People and Events feature classes from a feature layer—Data can be configured directly from a feature layer to instantly reflect changes on the map and app without the need to publish an update to the mobile map package.
  • Meeting room schedules—You can review schedules of meeting rooms on the map and schedule meetings by smart launching the calendar app with the selected location and current time.
  • Branding theme—Administrators can configure custom images and colors for the app when deploying through a mobile device management solution.
  • Various bug fixes and stability improvements have been made.
