When your project includes web tile layers or vector tile layers, you can work offline by downloading them. This feature allows you to select a specific area, set parameters, and save it as a downloadable package for offline access.
Use Download Map Tiles to take web layers offline if they meet the following requirements:
- Tile layers are configured to support tile export.
- Vector tile layers are configured to support tile export.

To download map tiles, complete the following steps:
- Click Export
on the toolbar and choose Download Map Tiles 
. - Choose a target applicable layer from Target layer section.
- Specify the download Extent by either entering the coordinates for the four edges or dragging the handles directly on the scene.
- Configure Max Download Level.
This setting indicates the level of detail in the downloaded area. For larger extents, the maximum tile limit will apply at a certain scale.
- Set download Path and click Download Map Tiles to start the download.
The Auto Add to TOC Once Exported check box automatically adds the downloaded tile or vector tile package to table of contents upon a successful download.
