What's new in QuickCapture—ArcGIS QuickCapture

Features are added to QuickCapture progressively. Those features are listed here by release.

Version 1.20.22 September 2024

Caution:

Be aware that this will be the last version of the QuickCapture mobile app to support Android 6.x. Starting with the next release, the minimum Android version supported will be 7.0 on both 32-bit and 64-bit ARM processors.

Mobile app

A new variable was added: levelId. The unique ID of a level feature is returned based on the floor selected in a floor-aware project map.
Link buttons configured to launch emails support including multiple variables when populating the message content.
On Android 14, a new location permission request has been added to ensure features continue to work when the app is in background.
Fixed a bug in which choice lists for button user input could not be searched.
Fixed a bug that prevented the map from loading in public ArcGIS Enterprise projects.
Fixed a bug in which users with a SAML login were not fully signed out.

Website

When applicable, deleting a project sends the deleted item to the recycle bin in your ArcGIS organization. This allows you a standard window of time to restore items that were deleted in error.
A new variable was added: Level ID. The unique ID of a level feature is returned based on the floor selected in a floor-aware project map.

Fixed bugs regarding text misalignment, truncation, wrong formatting or language, when QuickCapture is used in languages other than English.
Fixed a bug where updates are not shown in the map if the app has been open for more the 30 minutes.
