Zoom to the combined area of layers

You might want your map to automatically zoom to display the combined area of specific layers each time it is loaded in a document or dashboard. You can turn on this behavior using the Zoom on load setting on each of the layers you want to include in the combined zoom area.

  1. Click the Show map contents icon to display the Contents pane.
  2. On the Contents pane, click the arrow to the right of one of the layers you want to include in the combined zoom area.
  3. Click the On/Off selector beside Zoom on load to turn on this setting for the layer.
  4. Repeat these steps for any other layers you want to include in the combined zoom area.

Each time the document or dashboard is run, the map will automatically zoom to show the combined area of all the layers for which the Zoom on load setting was turned on.
