Available with the ArcGIS Indoors Maps extension.
Indoor positioning systems have an accuracy ranging from submeter to a few meters. In some cases, this can lead to displaying the location indicator for ArcGIS Indoors mobile apps in areas where it is not possible for a person to be physically present. An example is a person on an upper level in a building with an atrium and their position being reported in the large open space with no floor or in the middle of a pond. The location indicator snaps to the outer edge of the areas specified in the DeadZones feature class in these cases.
You can create a dead zone feature in the DeadZones feature class by digitizing polygons using the tools in the Create Features pane. Alternatively, you can load selected features from the Units feature class into the DeadZones feature class using the Append tool.
