Available with the ArcGIS Indoors Maps extension.
ArcGIS Indoors for iOS has built-in capabilities to integrate with other apps on the mobile device for better productivity. It also includes functionality to share locations of indoor features through a hyperlink.
The following configurations must be done to support these sharing and integration features.
Phone numbers and email
Indoors can access the phone dialer app and email app on the device directly if the indoor data consists of phone numbers and email addresses. The Contact button on the info card is available when any selected feature has phone or email data configured in a specific format.
Note:
The CONTACT_PHONE and EMAIL fields must be populated in the indoor dataset for the selected feature.

Calendar and appointments
Indoors supports integration with calendars configured for different accounts on the mobile device. You can view all appointments and meetings on the Calendar tab of the Schedule panel. You can also sync specific calendars. Users can find meeting room locations and route to them using the app if the rooms are in the active map.
The app requires permission to access the calendars configured on the device to retrieve meeting title and location information.
Note:
- Only appointments and meetings from accounts that appear in the default calendar app of the mobile device appear in the app. Email or calendar apps that manage accounts separately, such as Microsoft Outlook, are not supported.
- In some cases, the Indoors app may not have access to the default calendar app if the device is set up using a mobile device management solution. Contact the administrator of the system to configure access.
- It's recommended that you set the default calendar to your Microsoft 365 account in the Settings app, especially for devices running iOS 14 or later.
A list of calendars and syncing options are available when you click the calendar button in the Schedule panel. A route icon appears for a calendar event if the Location value matches the NAME or NAME_LONG attribute field value of a feature in the Units layer. You can click the route button to get turn-by-turn directions to the location of the event.
App launch
Indoors includes functionality to report incidents. Indoors natively supports ArcGIS Survey123. The launch action button on the info card is used to open the Survey123 survey form. Other workforce and work order management systems can also be configured if they support reporting incidents using a web-based form.
