Introduction to Readiness Management

Readiness Management can be used to understand and communicate comprehensive unit and force readiness.

It provides leaders and decision makers an understanding of available personnel resources and allows them to share authoritative data of assigned and attached forces. Units may be requested to assist in setting up traffic control points, helping with debris removal, preparing alternate care facilities, supporting food distribution, and so on. Having personnel perform a routine check-in or having someone from the armory or unit provide the readiness status of a group of personnel gives units clarity about force readiness. Readiness Management is typically implemented by the National Guard, Air National Guard, and other service branches that want to take a data-driven approach to understanding force availability.

The Readiness Management solution delivers a set of capabilities that help you understand the operational capacity of a force, monitor the status of units, and communicate capabilities and disruptions to commanders and administrative staff.
