Functionality matrix

The following table outlines functionality differences available to a Complimentary, Plus, or an ArcGIS Online user. Once logged in, application features not accessible based on your license type will be identified with a key icon Key icon for license types.

  • Complimentary—Allows you to access ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud using your email address. You will receive an email from Esri with an authorization code. The authorization code enables the extension on a single machine with full access to all public content hosted on ArcGIS Online as an anonymous user. You can activate your account directly through the sign-up page.
  • Plus—Commercial-grade access at a low month-to-month cost to premium maps and layers and advanced features within the extension. You can subscribe and pay for your Plus account directly and securely through the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud sign-up page.
  • ArcGIS Online—Part of the Esri Geospatial Cloud, ArcGIS Online enables you to connect people, locations, and data using maps. Work with smart, data-driven styles and intuitive analysis tools that deliver location intelligence. Share your insights with the world or specific groups. If you don't have an existing ArcGIS Online organizational account, you create and pay for your account using the Esri Store.

1—VectorStreetMap and Natural Earth basemaps are designed specifically for optimized vector map data in the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud extension.

2—Number of locations that can be geocoded via a local shapefile, CSV, TXT, or KML file is limited to 1,000 features for Complimentary users and 4,000 features for Plus and ArcGIS Online users.

3—Complimentary users only see the top 50 results when geosearching places.

4—Running these tools with an ArcGIS Online organizational account requires credits.

5—Enrollment in the Esri Enterprise Advantage Program and use of credits is required to allow for consulting time.
