The 1.8 release of the ArcGIS IPS Setup app for iOS introduces a maintenance scan workflow for checking the status of beacons in deployed beacon networks.
Beacon maintenance scan mode
You can use the beacon maintenance mode to walk through IPS-enabled facilities, automatically detecting and recording the battery level of nearby Bluetooth beacons. Beacon status information is saved to attribute table of the IPS_Beacons layer, and a beacon status summary is displayed in the app that can be used to determine which beacons may require maintenance.
