The content settings in the ArcGIS Instant Apps configuration window allow you to select, change, or modify the content to display in the app. Depending on the app, you can choose a map, scene, or group of content, or add sections to display a variety of content (such as maps, scenes, apps, image and PDF files, and videos). For some apps, you can also configure the Map area setting.
You must edit the map or scene used by the app by opening it in Map Viewer or Scene Viewer.
Map area setting
Most apps include the Map area configuration setting, which allows you to modify the Map view setting and the Navigation boundary setting. The Map view setting overrides the web map defaults and sets the default extent of the map within the app. The Navigation boundary setting limits how far users can extend, zoom, and rotate the map. Some apps that use scenes or multiple maps may include only the Map view setting.
