The updates below have been made in ArcGIS GeoBIM.
General
General product updates include the following:
- ArcGIS GeoBIM has been upgraded to ArcGIS Experience Builder 1.15.
- ArcGIS GeoBIM now has a new Select Folders feature on the Tools page that allows you to select specific folders from a BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud project.
Enhancements and bug fixes
The following enhancements and bug fixes were made:
- ArcGIS GeoBIM project or app thumbnails at 5,000 pixels display properly as long as they do not exceed 10 MB.
- Forge Viewer now correctly zooms into parts of IFC building scene layers.
- An error message is now displayed if you try to open a project link for an ArcGIS GeoBIM project that you do not have access to.
- The Enable Field Maps option no longer briefly disappears from the Map card after enabling a map for the field.
- Tools run now processes on ArcGIS GeoBIM projects with All Projects selected on the Accounts page.
- ArcGIS GeoBIM layers are no longer duplicated when adding a map or scene with nested group layers. However, maps that contain grouped layers cannot successfully create the forms and layers (new field map issues) required for the map for field.
Known issues
The following are the known issues in this release:
- Bookmarks are saved on the browser's local cache but if you clear your cache and open the ArcGIS GeoBIM app in a new browser,
- The workaround is to create your bookmarks in Map Viewer or Scene Viewer.
- Map selections fail to load in ArcGIS GeoBIM widgets when the page is reloaded.
- When you create a feature link in ArcGIS GeoBIM and then edit the name of that link in the Autodesk Construction Cloud, the new name does not display in the Link Explorer.
- The workaround to get the updated name for your feature link is to recreate the link.
- If you change your Autodesk project name after you created your account connection in ArcGIS GeoBIM, you still see the old project name in the Project Details panel, the Account Details modal, and the BIMProjects layer (Table, Map Popup, Link Explorer hyperlink, BIMProject details) after running the tools again.
- The workaround for this is to recreate the Autodesk account connection on the Accounts page to update the Project Details panel and Account Details modal successfully. However, the BIM Projects layer still displays the original project name.
- When you select a feature in a Cached Tile Scene Layer, your selection will be deselected after about a second. This only happens with the initial selection and all selections afterwards load correctly in the widgets.
- BIM 360 might have problems with the View BIM Model link after closing the Document viewer.
- The workaround for this is to select the folder from the folder tree.
