Enable ArcGIS Field Maps in ArcGIS GeoBIM

Follow these steps to enable ArcGIS Field Maps in ArcGIS GeoBIM.

1. On the project's Apps page, click the Create New drop-down arrow and choose Viewer.

   The App Editor page appears.

2. Follow Steps 2 through 18 in Create ArcGIS GeoBIM apps to create a viewer app.
3. Click the ArcGIS GeoBIM button at the upper right to return to the Apps page.
4. Go to the Maps page.

   The web maps for the project are on this page.

5. Click the options button on web map you saved for the ArcGIS GeoBIM app you just created and click Enable Field Maps.

   The web map opens in Field Maps Designer where you can configure the map layers.

   Note:

   Your browser needs to allow pop-up windows for Field Maps Designer to be launched.

   A ArcGIS GeoBIM project web map for ArcGIS Field Maps appears on the Maps page.

6. Optionally, click the options button on the project web map for ArcGIS Field Maps and click Open in Field Maps Designer to launch Field Maps Designer.

Note:

There is already a default configuration done by ArcGIS GeoBIM, but you can use Field Maps Designer to make any adjustments to the configuration.

After configuring the map, you are now ready to create issues or create notes for the ArcGIS GeoBIM app using the ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app.
