The administrator of your organization must grant you the required privileges to perform analysis. You must have the privileges to create, update, and delete content; publish hosted feature layers; and perform spatial analysis.
The required privileges for feature analysis are available through the following user types and roles:
- Creator, Professional, or Professional Plus user type
- Publisher, Facilitator, or Administrator role, or an equivalent custom role
Raster analysis tools and raster functions require a Professional or Professional Plus user type and the Imagery Analysis privilege.

Custom web tools
Custom web tools require the same user type and privileges as spatial analysis.
Custom web tools published from ArcGIS Notebooks also require the Run web tools privilege and any privileges required to run the individual tools within the notebook. The Run web tools privilege is included in the Administrator role.
