Move features

The Move tool is used to interactively move a selected feature.

Note:

Moving a feature cannot be undone. If a feature is moved to an incorrect location, it must be moved back manually. To cancel moving a feature before the move is completed, press Esc on your keyboard before releasing the mouse button.

To move a feature, complete the following steps:

1. Follow the steps to select one or more features.

   Bulk feature editing is not available when more than 200 features are selected.

2. To enable the Move tool, do one of the following:
   • On the editing toolbar, click Move .
   • Use the Alt+Shift+G shortcut for Windows or the Option+Shift+G shortcut for Mac on your keyboard.
3. Click and drag the selected feature to a new location on the map.

The selected feature is moved to the new location.
