Edit vertices

The Vertices tool is used to change the shape of a selected multipoint, line, or polygon feature by moving, adding, or deleting point locations or vertices.

Note:

You cannot undo a vertex edit. Once you move, add, or delete a vertex, changes are automatically saved.

  1. Follow the steps to select a feature.
  2. To enable the Vertices tool, do one of the following:
    • On the editing toolbar, click Vertices .
    • Use the Alt+Shift+V shortcut for Windows or Option+Shift+V shortcut for Mac.
