In reality mapping, the accuracy of the imagery orientation helps determine the quality of the imagery-derived mapping products.
The alignment process in ArcGIS Reality Studio improves the initial orientation data.
You can do the following using the alignment workflow:
- Measure control points to georeference the data and verify the quality of the alignment.
- Assess the quality of the alignment by reviewing the resulting statistics.
- Symbolize the components to gain insight into the alignment based on various statistical attributes.
- Refine the initial alignment results to improve the quality of those results.
- Export the alignment results or use them to reconstruct the captured scene.
