An aerial mapping project typically consists of large collections of data captured during multiple flights over several days. The data collected can come from single-camera systems (for example, nadir images) or multicamera systems (oblique and nadir images). In addition to aerial data, a project may require auxiliary data such as control points and geometries.
In ArcGIS Reality Studio, input refers to the data that is imported into a project.
When you import data into an ArcGIS Reality Studio project, it is saved into one of the following data objects:
- Capture sessions
- Control points
- Geometries
This section describes how to import input data.
