Export an alignment

Reality Studio 2023.1    |

You can export an alignment at any time after it is created. An alignment can be exported as frames and cameras tables or as an Inpho project.

Export an alignment as frames and cameras tables

To export an alignment to frames table orcameras table format, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Project Tree pane, click the alignment to export.
  2. On the Alignment tab, click Export.

The Export alignment result to frame camera table dialog box appears.

  3. Browse to a valid location and type a name for the alignment.
  4. Click Save.

The alignment is exported.

A folder with the alignment name is created containing the corresponding geodatabases.

A geodatabase is created in the export folder for each camera session.

Export an alignment as an Inpho project

An Inpho project file (.prj) includes the exterior orientation information of each image and the parameters of each camera. If the alignment contains control points and image measurements, they are exported as well.

  1. In the Project Tree pane, click the alignment to export.
  2. On the Alignment tab, click the Export drop-down arrow and click Inpho Project (.prj).

The Export alignment result to Inpho project dialog box appears.

  3. Browse to a valid location and type a name for the alignment.
  4. Click Save.

The alignment is exported as a .prj file.
