Before users can access ArcGIS Insights in ArcGIS Online, you must have an ArcGIS Online organizational account. Only users with Administrator privileges can configure the ArcGIS Online organization.
Required configuration settings
After you set up your ArcGIS Online account, ensure that users in your organization have the appropriate role, privileges, and user type to access and use Insights in ArcGIS Online.
A user requires the following:

- The Publisher, Facilitator, or Administrator role, or an equivalent custom role to add data, create visualizations, and use spatial analytics.
- An Insights license applied to the account. The Insights Analyst user type has an Insights license included.
