Standard Demographics

This release includes updates to Standard Demographics for 62 countries with data from Michael Bauer Research GmbH.

Asia

The following 39 countries in Asia are updated with new Standard Demographics (vintage updated from 2020 to 2022): Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Georgia (without Abkhazia), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.

North America

The following five countries in North America are updated with new Standard Demographics (vintage updated from 2020 to 2021): Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua.

Oceania

The following six countries in Oceania are updated with new Standard Demographics (vintage updated from 2020 to 2021): Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea.

South America

The following 12 countries in South America are updated with new Standard Demographics (vintage updated from 2020 to 2021): Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.

Advanced Demographics

This release includes updates to Advanced Demographics for Canada and the United States.

Canada

Canada Advanced demographics are updated to 2022 data vintage from Environics Analytics including the following:

  • Demographic estimates (2022 and 2017) with current-year estimates and historical estimates from 5 years ago based on the same methodologies to ensure accurate trend analysis.
  • Demographic projections (2025, 2027, 2032) including demographic projections for three, five, and ten years into the future based on the same methodologies to ensure accurate trend analysis.
  • Trends (2006-2042) including estimated and projected households counts, household population, household income, and household average income.
  • Daytime Population estimate of the population that is reachable in any geographic area during daytime hours.
  • CensusPlus data from the 2021 Census conducted by Statistics Canada.
  • Household Spending includes current year estimates on annual expenditures on goods and services used by Canadian households.
  • PRIZM segmentation classifies Canada's neighborhoods into 67 unique lifestyle types.

United States

The Traffic Counts data from Kalibratetracks peak and low traffic volume by the number of vehicles that cross a certain street location. The Traffic Counts data is updated with the Q3 2022 release from Kalibrate.

ArcGIS Places

This release includes the following updates and new releases for ArcGIS Places:

  • United States: Quarterly update to ArcGIS Places sourced from Data Axle business locations (Q3 2022) and SafeGraph Places (July 2022).
  • Puerto Rico: Quarterly update to ArcGIS Places sourced from SafeGraph Places (July 2022).
  • Canada: Quarterly update to ArcGIS Places sourced from Data Axle business locations (Q3 2022) and SafeGraph Places (July 2022).
  • Global: Updated global ArcGIS Places based on data sourced from Foursquare (September 2022).
