Standard Demographics
The following countries were updated with new Standard Demographics (vintage updated from 2018 to 2020) from Michael Bauer Research GmbH:
- Oceania (4)—Australia, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand
- South America (9)—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela
- Central America (5)—Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua

Advanced Demographics
The following updates were made to Advanced Demographics:
United States
Crime Indexes
Crime Indexes data provides a view of the relative risk of specific crime types in the United States. It is not a database of actual crimes, but rather the relative risk in an area compared to the United States in its entirety for several categories of personal and property crime. This release includes the 2020B release from AGS.
Traffic Counts
Traffic Counts data from Kalibrate tracks peak and low traffic volume by the number of vehicles that cross a specific street location. This release includes a correction to the Q4 2020 Traffic Counts data. Data for Connecticut is now available.
Major Shopping Malls
Major Shopping Centers and Malls from Directory of Major Malls will no longer be available through Esri products. Learn more about this change, or contact datasales@esri.com for information about purchasing Major Shopping Centers and Malls data.
Thailand
This release includes a correction to the 2019 Advanced Demographics from Esri Thailand. The following subdistricts incorrectly had values of zero for Total Households, Average Household Income Per Year, and Average Household Spending Per Year and have been replaced. This correction affects data values at the district, province, and country levels. It is recommended that analyses be rerun with this data.
