To sign in to ArcGIS Flight, you must use your ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, or Site Scan for ArcGIS credentials. Your device, account, and data must meet the requirements below.
Licensing
ArcGIS Flight requires a Site Scan Operator license or the Mobile Worker user type. A user with a Site Scan Operator license can plan and conduct missions and upload images for processing. A user with the Mobile Worker user type can plan and fly missions, and they must use other packages in ArcGIS Reality Suite to process imagery collected during flights. To learn more about what users can do with a Site Scan Operator license, see Roles, permissions, and privileges.
Users will receive an email asking them to set up their password after their license has been assigned or if they are invited to a Site Scan organization. If they did not receive an email, they can contact their organization administrator or Esri Technical Support.
Mobile app
The ArcGIS Flight mobile app is available for download on the Apple App Store for iOS.
Hardware and compatibility
An iPad that is compatible with iPadOS version 16.0 or later is required to use ArcGIS Flight. To capture imagery, a drone is required. The current list of supported drones, latest tested firmware, cameras, and supported connection types is provided in the table below.
Note:
Site Scan for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Drone2Map, and ArcGIS Reality for ArcGIS Pro provide processing of any georeferenced drone image. If your drone is not supported by the ArcGIS Flight app, you can still use the manufacturer's application to capture images for processing in the aforementioned ArcGIS Reality products. The drones listed in the table below are subject to routine testing in ArcGIS Flight.
