A label is a piece of text that is dynamically placed and whose text string is derived from feature attributes. In ArcGIS Earth, you can customize the style and visualization of labels on the fly. The following are supported data formats:
Edited labels are automatically saved in ArcGIS Earth. For a feature service, you can click Reset to revert the current label to the original renderer configured on the server. For local data, you can reset the label to the last time you edited it by clicking Reset .
注:
If a feature layer is from a portal item or inside a group, adjusted labels will be cleared once you exit ArcGIS Earth.Enable labels

Label properties
You can set the properties of labels on two tabs in the Labeling properties window.
General settings
The General tab in the Labeling properties window allows you to set the field, position, and priority of the label being used to render the data on the globe:
- The Label By drop-down menu provides the available fields of interest to label.
- Check Remove overlap labels to hide overlapping labels.
- The Position drop-down menu provides label placement options to control the positioning of labels with respect to features.
- The Priority setting controls the order in which labels are placed in the scene. Labels with a higher priority are generally placed on top of labels with a lower priority.
Label style
The Label style tab in the Labeling properties window allows you to adjust the label style properties, such as color, font, pattern, and transparency:
- The Font section allows you to set the font's name, size, style, color, and transparency.
- The Halo section allows you to set the color, transparency, and size of the halo effect.
- The Background section allows you to configure the color and transparency of the label background. The default transparency is 100 percent.
