Share data with a QR code
ArcGIS Earth supports sharing data with a QR code so that mobile users can easily add data by scanning the QR code generated from ArcGIS Earth on desktop, which requires no typing. The purpose of sharing data with a QR code is to bridge the gap between desktop and mobile users, provide a hands-free user experience, and showcase how ArcGIS Earth works across the platform.
Data types that you can share with ArcGIS Earth mobile users though a QR code are as follows:
- Map service
- Image service
- Feature service
- Scene service
- Web scene
There are many collaboration scenarios in which you would use ArcGIS Earth to share data. For example, share projects with your audience while you're briefing and presenting, or share a demo with stakeholders while you're communicating an idea.
