What is ArcGIS for Teams?

ArcGIS for Teams brings ArcGIS functionality into Microsoft Teams. Use ArcGIS for Teams to search for and open maps, apps, and other ArcGIS content in a chat, a meeting, or a team channel. Share ArcGIS content using @mentions in a chat or channel. Use Live Share to collaborate, synchronize, and engage with publicly available ArcGIS Online content items during a meeting or call. If you have an ArcGIS account, sign in to access your organization's content and information about your ArcGIS user profile.

I can't find ArcGIS for Teams in the Microsoft AppSource. How do I get it?

ArcGIS for Teams is in the Microsoft AppSource under the name ArcGIS. Type ArcGIS in the search box in the AppSource to find it.

If you still can't find ArcGIS in the AppSource, an IT administrator may need to use the Microsoft Teams admin console to make the app available to your organization or manage the policies associated with ArcGIS.

What are the system requirements for ArcGIS for Teams?

You can use ArcGIS for Teams wherever you use Microsoft Teams. IT administrators should review the Microsoft documentation for information about system requirements for Microsoft Teams.

What ArcGIS privileges are required to use ArcGIS for Teams?

You must be signed in to Microsoft Teams to use ArcGIS for Teams. You can use the ArcGIS for Teams search and share functionality as an anonymous user or while signed in to your ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise account. Guest users who are not signed in to an ArcGIS account can use ArcGIS for Teams to find and view publicly available content in ArcGIS Online. Users who are signed in to an ArcGIS account have the same privileges to view and edit content in ArcGIS for Teams as they do in other ArcGIS applications. Privileges are determined by your ArcGIS account user type and role settings.
