Resize and move a map

Note:

Standard users can perform the functions of this workflow; you do not need to sign in to an ArcGIS account.

You can resize and move an ArcGIS for SharePoint map.

Move the map

To move a map to a new location on a page, complete the following steps:

1. Activate edit mode on the page and open the web part tools.
2. Click the Move web part button and drag the map to the new location.

Specify the width and height of the map app part

By default, the Resize to fit the layout check box is checked, which automatically applies a size to the map based on the size of the site layout. To set a custom width and height for a map, complete the following steps: 

1. In the Appearance section of the ArcGIS pane, uncheck the Resize to fit the layout check box.

   The Width and Height options become active.

2. Specify Width and Height values.

   The map width must be between 400 and 1200 pixels. The map height must be between 450 and 800 pixels. 

   The map is automatically resized to your specifications.
