QuickCapture capability in ArcGIS

Experience Builder now supports the big-button data capture experience by using QuickCapture projects. To learn more, see QuickCapture widget.

QuickCapture projects are still authored in the QuickCapture designer and can still be used in the stand-alone QuickCapture mobile app.

Where features are not supported in Experience Builder, the feature will typically be absent from the app with the following exceptions:

• If the user taps a project button that targets a line or polygon layer, they will see a dialog box that explains that these button types are not supported.
• If a button user input variable targets an unsupported field type (for example, date time), this will be shown in the user interface.
• If the project uses unsupported QuickCapture variables, field values will remain empty.

The statuses used in this documentation are listed below.

• Available—Functionality is available for use now, some limitations may apply, but these are described in the specific documentation
• In development—Work is in progress on the functionality and it will be available in the next release or two.
• Planned—Work on the functionality is not in progress, but it is planned for a future release.
• Not planned—Feature is not planned for inclusion. It may be superseded by different behaviour or technology, or is not applicable.
