Users can be managed from the Users tab on the Administration page. You must be assigned the Administrator role to manage users.
Modify a user
To modify a user's properties and role, complete the following steps:
- Access ArcGIS Monitor, if necessary.
The Home page appears.
- Click Administration.
The Administration page appears.
- Click the Users tab.
The Users page appears with a list of users sorted alphabetically by name.
- Optionally, do any or all of the following:
- Click Sort and change the sorting method.
- Click Filter and create a query to filter the list.
- Click Hide and specify the columns to hide or show.
- Position the pointer at the edge of a column's header and drag the column's edge to resize it.
- Type a keyword in the Search by first name, last name, or username text box to search for specific users.
- Click More options next to the user that you want to modify and click Edit user.
The Edit user dialog box appears.
- Update the user's role and properties as necessary.
Note:
You cannot modify the user's username.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Delete a user
To delete a user, complete the following steps:
- Access Monitor, if necessary.
The Home page appears.
- Click Administration.
The Administration page appears.
- Click the Users tab.
The Users page appears with a list of users sorted alphabetically by name.
- Optionally, do any or all of the following:
- Click Sort and change the sorting method.
- Click Filter and create a query to filter the list.
- Click Hide and specify the columns to hide or show.
- Position the pointer at the edge of a column's header and drag the column's edge to resize it.
- Type a keyword in the Search by first name, last name, or username text box to search for specific users.
- Click More options next to the user that you want to delete and click Delete.
The Delete user dialog box appears.
Caution:
Deleting a user is permanent and can't be undone.
- Click Delete user.
The user is deleted.
