Users can be managed from the Users tab on the Administration page. You must be assigned the Administrator role to manage users.
Modify a user
To modify a user's properties and role, complete these steps:
- Access ArcGIS Monitor, if necessary.
The Home page appears.
- Click Administration.
The Administration page appears.
- Click the Users tab.
The Users page appears with a list of users sorted alphabetically by name.
Tip:
Click Sort to change the sorting method, click Filter to create a query to filter the list, and click Hide to choose which columns to hide or show. You can also search for specific users by typing a keyword in the Search by first name, last name, or username text box.
- Click More options next to the user that you want to modify and click Edit user.
The Edit User dialog box appears.
- Update the user's role and properties as necessary.
Note:
You cannot modify the user's username.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Delete a user
To delete a user, complete these steps:
- Access Monitor, if necessary.
The Home page appears.
- Click Administration.
The Administration page appears.
- Click the Users tab.
The Users page appears with a list of users sorted alphabetically by name.
Tip:

- Click More options next to the user that you want to delete and click Delete.
The Delete User dialog box appears.
Caution:
Deleting a user is permanent and can't be undone.
- Click Delete User.
The user is deleted.
