If you are a mission owner or mission administrator, you can delete a mission from the View all missions tab. You cannot delete a mission if you do not own it or do not have an account with administrative privileges. If you delete a single mission, you have the option to retain the mission services you need to keep. All teams stored (as groups) in portal associated with a mission will be deleted.
Delete a single mission
If deleting a single mission, you have the option of keeping the from the mission that you wish to retain or deleting all data. This option only appears if you delete one mission at a time. The data that you can choose to retain is the following:
- Mission Web Map
- Layers (Chats, Logs, Presence, Tasks, Tracks)
- Reports
The Mission Item will always be deleted and cannot be deselected. You can expand Layers and Reports to select specific options. To delete a mission and keep data, complete the following steps:
- Use Search by mission name, username, or tags to find the desired mission or sort by mission owner.
- Click the box next to the mission to delete.
- Click Delete Mission
.The Delete Mission dialog appears.
- Choose a delete option:
- Delete all—All mission items and data are removed.
- Delete selected items—Choose which mission items are removed: Mission Web Map, Layers, Reports. Mission Item and Mission Dashboard will always be removed.
- You can expand layers and reports, selecting specific options. If one specific layer or report is unchecked, the layer or report check boxes deselect.
- Click Delete to confirm your deletion.
A notification appears stating you successfully deleted your mission.
All unchecked items will be preserved in the mission's content folder under the Content tab of the portal home app..
Delete multiple missions
To delete multiple missions, complete the following steps:
- Use Search by mission name, username, or tags to find the desired missions or sort by mission owner.
- Check the box next to the missions to delete.
The number of number selected appears.
- Click Delete Mission .
The Delete dialog appears.
- Click Delete to delete the listed missions.
A notification appears stating you successfully deleted your missions.
