Use the ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app to create new issues linked to your Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) documents.
Note:
This feature requires the basic knowledge of ArcGIS Field Maps. If you need more information about configuring the ArcGIS Field Maps app in your device, visit the ArcGIS Field Maps help documentation.
Complete these steps to create new issues in the ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app:
- Open the ArcGIS Field Maps app on your mobile device.
- Select the ArcGIS GeoBIM web map that was created after you enabled ArcGIS Field Maps on your project.
The web map will open to its default extent.
- On the map, find the specific document that you want to attach the issue to.
- Select the document and on the pop-up, find and click the New Field Maps Issues field.
- Click Add
.The ArcGIS Field Maps app goes into collection mode and a cross-hair symbol appears on the map to place the issue point.
- Move the cross-hair symbol to the area of the issue and click Add Point.
The new issue is placed on the map.
- Fill in the required fields for the issue.
Tip:
Add attachments or photos to provide extra context for the new issue.
- Click the Submit button.
- Repeat steps 4-8 to add more issues.
You have now created issues in the ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app.
Note:
Every time you add a new Type or Subtype into your issues in your Autodesk Construction Cloud projects, you need to enable ArcGIS Field Maps again for your map in ArcGIS GeoBIM. This step is required to capture the latest changes and keep the Autodesk Type domain list synchronized.You are now ready to upload ArcGIS Field Maps issues to Autodesk Construction Cloud.
