Note:
You need the following account and license types to use this workflow:
- Microsoft license—You need a Microsoft 365 license and the Contributor role or higher to zoom to a specific feature.
- ArcGIS account type—Standard users can perform the functions of this workflow; you do not need to sign in.
You can get a closer look at details on the map by zooming to a feature.

To zoom in to a specific feature from Excel, do the following:
- In an Excel spreadsheet, locate and select the rows that contain the features you want to see closer on the map.
- Click the Map Data tab.
- Click Zoom To .
The map zooms in and displays the selected feature in the center of the map.
Note:
If you selected multiple rows, the map zooms to show the extent of the selected features.
