What's new in June 2024

Enhanced solutions

Electric Utility Network Foundation
  • The solution now includes the Electric Unbalanced Distribution Utility Network Essentials ArcGIS Pro project with a fundamental schema.
  • The Electric asset package has been renamed to Electric Utility Network Expanded asset package.
  • The Utility Data Management Support toolbox has been updated to support ArcGIS Pro 3.3.
  • The Electric Utility Network Expanded asset package now includes the following enhancements:
    • A previous change to the asset package has been reverted to add Unknown Asset Type back to all Asset Groups.
    • An asset type of Overhead Neutral has been added to the Medium Voltage Overhead Conductor asset group in the ElectricLine feature class.
    • Arresters have been added back as spatial features
    • Domains have been updated to ensure that a code does not have a description conflicts when domains are assigned to the same field but to different asset groups.
    • The name of nominal voltage fields has been changed to better reflect the field use and meaning

Homelessness Point-in-Time Count
  • The solution name has been changed from Homelessness Point-in-Time Counts to Homelessness Point-in-Time Count.
  • The solution now includes several new apps to support volunteering workflows: Homelessness Point-in-Time Count ArcGIS Hub site, Point-in-Time Count Volunteer Application ArcGIS Survey123 form, Point-in-Time Count Volunteer Manager ArcGIS Experience Builder app, and Point-in-Time Count Volunteer Notebook.
  • The HUD Report notebook, Point-in-Time Count dashboard, and Point-in-Time Count form have been updated to support modified questions, based on the HUD 2023 Point-in-Time count data standards and other minor enhancements.
  • The Point-in-Time Count form now includes Spanish as an option.
  • The solution now includes a series of new Homelessness Point-in-Time Count maps, feature layers and feature layer views.
Opioid Epidemic Outreach
  • The Opioid Resource Inventory app has been updated to use ArcGIS Instant Apps instead of ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
  • The Opioid Epidemic Outreach site has been updated to remove the Opioid Epidemic Outreach Volunteers form and replace the Overdose Counts app with the Overdose Counts web map.
  • Overdose Dashboard now includes a mobile view, and the Overdose Dashboard Mobile app has been removed.
  • The Opioid Epidemic Outreach Manager app has been renamed to Drug Paraphernalia Manager because volunteering capabilities are no longer included.
  • The AddictionFacilities, HealthcareFacilities, HomelessnessServices, MedicalFacilities, MentalHealthFacilities, PublicHealthFacilities, and SharpsDisposal layers and views have been updated to include SVG symbology and a new schema that supports the visualization of operating hours.
  • Opioid Epidemic Outreach, Pain Management Locator, Naloxone Locator, and Opioid Treatment Locator have been updated to make use of the new layers with symbology and operating hours.
  • The Opioid Awareness Maps ArcGIS Pro project has been updated to fix minor errors.
Sewer Utility Network Foundation
  • The solution now includes the Sewer Utility Network Essentials ArcGIS Pro project with a fundamental schema.
  • The Sewer Utility Network Foundation ArcGIS Pro project has been renamed to Sewer Utility Network Expanded.
  • The Utility Data Management Support toolbox has been updated to support ArcGIS Pro 3.3.
  • The Sewer Utility Network Expanded asset package now includes the following enhancements:
    • Editor tracking fields have been updated for consistency across solutions.
    • Subnetwork summaries and associated fields have been removed to improve performance.
    • The CP Only category has been removed from Anodes.
    • The domain values for the Lifecycle_Status, Lifecycle_Combined, and Construction_Status domains have been updated for consistency between Utility Network foundations.
    • Laterals and CP features have been removed from aggregate lines to reduce the complexity of the aggregated geometry and increase performance.
    • The operable field assignment has been changed to accommodate appropriate devices.
    • Domain has been removed from normalstatus and presentstatus for Relief Valve and Flow Valve on SewerDevice because they are not operable valves.
Water Utility Network Foundation
  • The solution name has been changed from Water Distribution Utility Network Foundation to Water Utility Network Foundation.
  • The solution now includes the Water Utility Network Essentials ArcGIS Pro project with a fundamental schema.
  • The Water Distribution Utility Network Foundation ArcGIS Pro project has been renamed to Water Utility Network Expanded.
  • The Utility Data Management Support toolbox has been updated to support ArcGIS Pro 3.3.
  • The Water Utility Network Expanded asset package now includes the following enhancements:
    • Editor tracking fields have been updated for consistency across solutions.
    • Subnetwork summaries and associated fields have been removed to improve performance of Update Subnetwork.
    • The domain values for the Lifecycle_Status, Lifecycle_Combined, and Construction_Status domains have been updated for consistency between Utility Network foundations.
    • The domain for field cptraceability has been changed from Yes_No to CP_Traceability for WaterDevice, WaterJunction, and WaterLine so that appropriate values can be assigned.
    • The normalstatus and presentstatus fields were unassigned from Flushing and Blowoff because these are not valves you would monitor status on.
    • All terminals that were previously Pipe Bidirectional Dual Terminal were changed to Pipe Directional Dual Terminal with the exception of Isolation Zone, DMA, and Anode Bed. This change was made to better represent the terminal configurations of the device.
    • The asset type Well has been moved to its own asset group called Well. This change was made to allow field definitions and cartographic options at the subtype layer.
    • Service Laterals were removed from aggregated lines on all tiers to reduce the complexity of the aggregated geometry and increase performance.
Weather Operational Effects
  • The Weather Operational Effects toolbox has been updated to include a streamlined forecast processing tool, which supports both imperial and metric units, and an astronomical data tool.
  • The Weather Operational Effects Project now provides imperial and metric operational threshold tables and raster function templates.
  • The Weather Operational Effects Center now includes both imperial and metric unit dashboards.
  • The Forecast Operational Effects Overlays app has been reconfigured into an Instant Apps app.
